Popping boba is made with jam inside and the outer coating material can be recycled using. The whole set of machines include the jam hopper, SUS pans, flushing system and cleaning system and etc.. All these are made of stainless steel and can be used safely and meet the sanitation standards.

The raw material processing system for the popping boba production line is equipped with two cooking pots for preparing the core and outer shell materials. The core mixture consists of fruit juice, white sugar, xanthan gum, and calcium lactate, which are blended thoroughly and de-bubbled under vacuum. The outer shell material is a sodium alginate solution, which must be fully dissolved to be used for the popping boba formation process.
In the forming section of popping boba production, the chemical reaction between sodium alginate and calcium ions creates a thin membrane on the surface of juice droplets, maintaining the characteristic burst-in-the-mouth texture. The hopper contains the calcium-infused juice mixture, which is dropped into a rectangular trough filled with a uniformly mixed sodium alginate solution. This contact forms a thin gel-like membrane around the liquid core, resulting in the distinctive popping boba.
The juice mixture in the hopper is dispensed through the up-and-down motion of a plunger. This motion causes the juice to be deposited through a nozzle into the sodium alginate solution, where a chemical reaction occurs.
After the juice mixture reacts in the sodium alginate trough for approximately one minute, it, along with the sodium alginate solution, is poured onto a conveyor belt to continue the reaction. Upon completion of the reaction, the sodium alginate solution is filtered and collected for recycling.
The water rinsing system in the popping boba production line is designed to remove excess sodium alginate solution from the surface of the popping boba. This process helps prevent overreaction and ensures the final product maintains its desired texture and quality.
The formed popping boba are transported and collected through a filtration screen. At the end of the production line, a water tank
collects the boba, preparing them for the next steps of sterilization and packaging.
